In information systems yesterday we learned about data dictionaries.
A data dictionary is a document which contains information about the different data items in a database. Also we looked at examples of databases and we had to give each database a data dictionary.
For example we looked at a car table and a rental table, in the dictionary we named the entity, attribute, type of field, validation and what kind of key. To get practice go on edmodo and go on the link for the wikispaces where you can practice data dictionaries (sorry couldn’t get link.)
